Exporting data for deduplication
Exporting the data
Once your data has been analysed we help you export your data in a format that suits you. We're very experienced in exporting from and importing to a wide variety of systems - even systems that don't lend themselves to large scale exports/import
The results
We run our matching and de-duplication software against your data, using the configurations determined during the analysis. And we return to you a file, in your desired format, containing the records that are a close match grouped together along with the reasons the software made the match.
Examples
Here are some examples of matches made by our software on production data:
1. Similar company names
In this example the same company has been entered slightly differently.
GLEN EIRA CITY COUNCIL |
CITY OF GLEN EIRA |
These are matched because the company names are similar enough to reach the "match threshold" for this data.
2. Matching phone number
In this example, the company name has been entered quite differently, but the phone numbers match. The phone number was a category one field for this data. Because it matched exactly the two records were automatically grouped together.
NEWCASTLE MASTER BUILDERS ASSO |
MBA NEWCASTLE |
3. Similar address details
In the example below we see three companies grouped together. The second and third companies are the same, and the first company is separate company operating at the same address.
AUSTRALIAN POPULATION INSTITUT |
URBAN DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF |
UDIA LTD |
These entries were grouped together by our software because certain of their their address fields contained the same data, although written differently in each case.
Matching email address
In this case the company changed its name, however the contact email address remained the same.
AUSTRALIAN GUARANTEE CORP LTD |
GE FINANCE AUSTRALASIA PTY LTD |
